Due Date Calculator

With our due date calculator, you can easily calculate your expected due date and keep track of important milestones in your pregnancy. Our due date calculator takes the time of your last menstrual period and calculates your due date based on that (assuming your cycle is 28 days - for longer or shorter cycles, the due date must be adjusted accordingly - i.e. for a shorter cycle, the number of days up to 28 is subtracted from the due date, and for a longer cycle, the number of days down to 28 is added to the due date), giving you insight into both the due date and the three trimesters of your pregnancy.

Can I be put on a waiting list?

We do not have a waiting list. However, new appointments are regularly added to the calendar and some cancellations mean that new available appointments are released for you to book.
Keep an eye on the website.

How do I cancel my appointment?

If you cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment, the full amount will be refunded automatically. If cancelled after 24 hours, the full amount of the service will be charged.

You will find a cancellation-link at the bottom of the page on your booking confirmation email

Can we bring children and other guests?

You are more than welcome to bring family and friends. Children are of course also very welcome.
We do not have a limit on the number of guests, but ideally there are 2-3 seats and 2 standing places.

When do I qualify for a new (free) appointment for ultrasound?

If there are conditions that make it difficult to perform the scan, you will be offered a new appointment - at our expense - concerning gender scan and 3D/4D ultrasound up to 32+0 weeks of pregnancy.

However, perfect images also depend on conditions that we can't always change (amniotic fluid volume, tissue type of the pregnant woman, position of the placenta, etc).
The quality of the images varies between pregnant women.

What is the significance of the position of the placenta?

If the placenta is placed against the abdominal skin, it will not affect your baby's well-being during pregnancy, the placement is completely random. However, you may find that the image quality during 3D ultrasound scans can be challenged depending on the position of the baby and whether the placenta can block images of the face during the scan. Therefore, we recommend that you book your appointment between 26+ and 28+ weeks of pregnancy.

Can I get a subsidy from Sygeforsikring Danmark?

Sygeforsikring Danmark provides subsidies for ultrasound scans and midwife consultations that lasts at leat 40 minutes. The midwife reports electronically after the ultrasound in Gravidklinikken.

You can expect a subsidy of DKK 300 from Sygeforsikring Danmark when you book these scans:

3D/4D ultrasound, 40 minutes

What is a NIPT test?

A NIPT (Non-Invasive Prenatal Test) is a blood test offered to pregnant women to screen for certain genetic conditions in the fetus.
The test analyzes small fragments of fetal DNA circulating in the mother's blood to assess the risk of chromosomal abnormalities such as Down's syndrome (trisomy 21), Edward's syndrome (trisomy 18) and Patau's syndrome (trisomy 13). Because the test is non-invasive, it poses no risk to the fetus
